Officially kicking off Oracle OpenWorld 2015, the keynote of Larry Ellison on Sunday evening was packed with annoucements.
In his analysis of the Cloud market of the last 16 years, he made it very clear that we're in the middle of a cloud transformation of each of the 3 layers of the cloud, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. He then introduced the 6 design goals of the Oracle Cloud:Cost Reliability Performance Standards Compatibility Security
and elaborated extensively on each of those design goals.
